Cupping's been around for thousands of years - we're talking ancient Egypt and China here. It uses specialized cups to create suction on your skin. As the cup vacuum-seals to your body, it lifts and separates the tissue layers beneath the surface. This gentle "reverse massage" decompresses the tissue and gets your lymph fluid and fresh oxygen-rich blood flowing.
Uh, yes! Big time.
Cupping gently works out knots and kinks from the inside out - no aggressive digging and prodding required! Studies show it reduces chronic back and neck pains better than pain meds. Relaxing yet effective.
That suction action provides tons of benefits:
When painful knots, tension, or stiffness flare up, apply Lure Essentials cups over the affected area and feel soothing relief within moments as the suction releases contracted tissues. Experience reduced pain and increased mobility in just minutes as cupping goes to work right away.
Whether you struggle from painful trigger points, tense necks throbbing temples, tight lower back, inflamed nerves, and more, Lure cups will help you find relief. From delicate facial muscles to aching joints or sore feet, you can customize your DIY cupping experience.
Cupping should feel comfortable! Our soft silicone cups gently hug your body as they glide and massage. You'll feel a soothing suction sensation as those tense tissues lift into the cup. Most describe it as deeply releasing instead of painful. *PRO TIP: just be sure to use ample amount of oil or lotion for frictionless glide.
No need to fret - those temporary circle imprints left behind aren't bruises. They represent blood flow called to the area to heal and rejuvenate your muscles. Not every body marks and the marks typically fade within a few a few minutes or days. Consider them a sign of positive change to come. We call them badges of healing.

A: Cupping therapy is a holistic modality, a form of an alternative treatment where glass, plastic or silicone cups are placed on the skin to create vacuum suction. This technique helps release stagnation, breaks up fascial adhesions, promotes blood flow, andactivates lymphatic drainage. Cupping is commonly used for muscle soreness and joint pain, digestive problems, to improve mobility, flexibility and athletic performance. It is also popular for cosmetic applications which include facial rejuvenation, body firming and toning, may help reduce the appearance of cellulite and so much more.
A: Cupping is commonly used for the relief of pain and inflammation. It's non-invasive, cost effective, simple to use and generally safe. Please consult your physician if you are pregnant, are on blood thinners, have varicose veins or may have a medical condition.
Do not use on open wounds, fresh scars, burned or broken skin or on skin inflammations. Do not use over mouth or nose. Keep out of reach of children.

A: In many cases, results are felt or seen after only a few cupping treatments, though many users report feeling and looking better almost immediately. With regular use, you will experience muscle tension relaxation, rejuvenation, increased energy, firmness and a more toned, healthier physique. Reduced stress, improved circulation and pain relief are just some of the many benefits you can see and feel. Remember, results are cumulative. To be effective, use regularly until optimal results are reached, follow a healthy diet, exercise and drink plenty of water.
*Individual results can and will vary.
A: Most individuals find cupping therapy very relaxing resulting in muscle tension and pain relief. Cupping should never feel painful, but depending on individual sensitivity and the intensity of the massage, it may feel relaxing or you may experience a moderate discomfort.
The movement of the cup mimics the rolling action of deep tissue massage, where cupping treatment creates reverse or "negative" pressure by pulling skin upward. Redness of just massaged skin and feel of warmth (heat) is an indication of increased healthy blood flow to the area you cupped. If you opt in for stationary massage cupping technique, you may notice round marks in the shape of your cups, commonly referred to as “hickey”. These marks are an indication that toxins and stagnation were pulled to the surface of the body, restoring flow of energy and healthy blood flow. The marks are temporary and will fade within a few days to several weeks.
A: "Cupping Marks" are not bruises. The discolorations produced after stationary cupping may be due to blood stagnation, previous injury or a buildup of lactic acid or toxins brought to the surface. Some cupping marks disappear within minutes, while others may last up to several weeks.
